Bathos

This effort arose when working with Eastern printing techniques and considering social & cultural stereotypes with the material of rice paste. In lieu of rice paste for the chine' colle techniques, the chicken fat acts as a binder and provides transparency for the images of nude pin ups. The interaction between the audience and the prints provides a synthesis of pleasures: porn and fried chicken but ultimately cannot provide true pleasure since the grease and images are not truly consumable. "Ceci n'est pas une pipe!"
